Show us your favorite movie posters |
Our graphics design group loves the crazy colors and dazzling designs of the '70's, and nothing gets them in a groovy state of mind more than a pile of movie posters from this colorful decade. Whether it is Rocky or Rocky Horror Picture Show, the 1970's have some of the most recognized movie posters to date. While some feature striking photography or strong graphics – others are painted by top movie poster artists, like Drew Struzan (Star Wars, First Blood) or John Berkey (King Kong, Towering Inferno). And who can forget the hand-drawn (and terrifying) Jaws poster by Roger Kastel? Next time you're in the theater, take a look around and see if any movie posters inspire your groove. And if you're still scared to swim in the pool at night, you can blame Roger.
Until next week, Keep On Truckin'
