O'Brien Landscape Launches New Site - 4/30/2010 |
Pickering Creative Group has developed a new website for O'Brien & Co. Landscape, located at www.obrienlandscape.com . O’Brien is a leading boutique landscape/architectural/design/build/maintenance firm headquartered in Wilmette, Illinois, serving the greater Chicago area. The firm was recently featured in an episode of Yard Crashers on the DIY Network.
The website showcases O’Brien’s beautiful and innovative work while incorporating the hand-drawn feel of the company’s logo. The site perfectly portrays the firm's motto of “Living Rooms for the Outdoors” in pictures throughout.
In particular, the site’s portfolio section showcases design examples that are both easy to navigate and informative, allowing the visitor to experience O’Brien’s endless design possibilities. "I enjoyed the chance to collaborate with another creative company and I think that shows through in the final product," says creative director Trent Wilcox. The site was created with a content management system allowing for simple in-house updates of virtually all aspects of the site.
"We are getting some awesome feeback on the website," says Jason Mattix, landscape designer at O'Brien. "Pickering is the fourth company we have worked with to try and build our image on the web. We are finally proud of the website and couldn't be happier with our decision to work with Pickering. We've received a lot of hits and everyone is saying what a 'beautiful' site it is… so thank you very much!"
