 Pickering Creative Group was recently profiled in the national trade magazine Fire Management Today for their innovative mobile marketing unit that supports the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL) Nebraska Forest Service in their wildfire prevention education efforts.
The custom trailer provides 24 feet of eye-catching display space and is also equipped with a portable generator, state-of-the-art sound system, projector, and projection screen. The multi-media presentation provides a powerful – and portable – experience that engages and educates audiences across the state.
Since the trailer’s completion, the mobile marketing unit has traveled to county fairs, Firewise workshops, and many events throughout the state. It has exposed thousands of Nebraska residents to the UNL Nebraska Forest Service and its important fire prevention message.
“The graphics and messages draw in a lot of people. The pictures of dramatic forest fires, fire prevention tips, and Smokey Bear always catch people’s eyes. Even as we’re driving along, other people on the road stare, wave, and honk,” stated Donald Westover, the UNL Nebraska Forest Service and fire program leader.
